Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most frequently used systems of healing in the world; it is simple, safe, and sustainable healthcare. Our mission at SCA is to make acupuncture affordable and accessible to our community.
We offer comfortable, individualized acupuncture treatments in a cozy community setting for all kinds of ailments: from back pain to insomnia; from indigestion to everyday stress. We have a sliding scale of $15 - $35 per treatment - pay what you like with no questions asked. We are one of over 200 Community Acupuncture clinics in North America and a member of the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture, a multi-stakeholder co-operative which strives to use acupuncture to create social change in health care.
Our model for natural health care empowers patients, builds community and breaks down class divisions. We love Community Acupuncture because it makes it easy for people to get treatments whenever they want, to be treated with their families and friends, to feel comfortable rather than isolated, and to create together a collective energetic field which makes individual treatments more powerful and clinically effective.
